Commemorative Lighting Request 

In accordance with the Town’s Municipal Flag and Commemorative Lighting Policy AP. 96, any organization or community group that meets the criteria may complete a commemorative lighting request to request commemorative lighting of the Town’s Clock Tower, located in Civic Square, downtown Stouffville.

Applications should be submitted a minimum of one month in advance of the first day that the illumination is being requested. Requester must specify the colours and the order of colours to be displayed. Note a maximum of six (6) colours can be chosen.

Duration of lighting will be governed by availability and scheduling and cannot be longer than a one (1) week period. The Legislative Services Division will notify the applicant if their illumination request has been approved or denied.
