Dog Tag Application and Renewals

Dog tags are valid from January 1 to December 31st yearly. Residents are required to purchase a dog tag for each dog that resides on the property. 

Please complete the application form once for each dog.

Dog tag online payments:

• New or renewal of a tag - we will mail you a dog tag once payment has been received. 

• October 1 - December 31 - No charge for new residents/new dogs - are to contact the Town Office at 905-640-1900 Ext. 0 or email us at customer.service@townofws.ca before ordering a dog tag.

• Service Dog owners - with valid documentation - are to contact the Town Office at 905-640-1900 Ext. 0 or email us at customer.service@townofws.ca before ordering a dog tag.

Please contact the Town office at 905-640-1900 or email us at customer.service@townofws.ca in the event of any of the following:

1. Lost dog tag - replacement tag fee $10.00 ea.

2. Dog has moved

3. Dog has passed away

4. Infomation on file has changed

5. Received an error after completing the Online application form including credit card information and have not received a purchase confirmation email after waiting at least 15 minutes - Please do not process the same dog information a second time as you may be charged twice for the same dog. 

Personal information contained in this form is collected under the authority of Municipal Act 2001, SO 2001 c.25. The information will be used for dog licensing purposes.
