Water Meter Testing Request Form

Terms and Conditions:

• By completing this request, you are authorizing the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville to charge the applicable fee (as outlined in the Fees and Charges By-law) to the water account linked to the property.
• The 2023 fee for removal and testing of standard size meter at the request of the property owner is $309.00 + HST per meter.  Larger sized meters will be charged at actual cost.
• Results of the water meter test may take up to 6 weeks for delivery.  During this period of time, a temporary water meter will be installed.
• If your water meter is found to be accurate, the testing fee will be retained and the water meter will be reinstalled.If your water meter is found to be inaccurate, the testing fee will be refunded and the temporary water meter will remain in place.
