Water Account Change due to Sale or Purchase 

If you are buying and selling within the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, you are required to complete this form for each property:  one for selling your current property and one for purchasing your new property.

I agree to the following terms and conditions:
 

1. It is the property owner's responsibility to notify the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Water Department of any changes to the information as provided above.  

2. It is the property owner's responsibility to contact the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Water Department if the water and wastewater bill is not received.

3. Any past due water and wastewater account balances over 60 days will automatically be transferred to the property tax account linked to the water account.

4. For the seller, if you are enrolled in the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, please complete the online Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Cancellation request hereYou will be required to pay the final meter reading bill manually.

5. For the purchaser, a Final Read/New Account Setup fee will be charged to the first water bill issued to the new water account in accordance with our Fees & Charges Bylaw.  The 2023 fee is $71.00.
